Well, this is it. Friday was day 365 of my one-year blog project, and I really wanted to find something super cool to photograph, but I decided to end it where it all began one year ago ... with Homer Simpson sitting on my desk. A couple of weeks ago, my 8-year-old daughter drew this picture, and I had it pinned up on my desk, right behind the little Homer antenna topper. I remembered Friday that the antenna topper was the first pic I took for this project, so I thought closing with this would make it come full circle.
Although I missed a few days in my attempt to take a photo every single day over the past year, I still enjoyed doing it, as it really made me look at things around me differently. Thanks to all those who read and who commented. A few times I had thought about giving up, but then a comment would make me realize that people are looking at this thing (a few anyhow), so I kept going.
I'm going to keep on posting over at my other blog that I had started before this one, although it may not be an every single day type of thing. Hope all the readers will go there and keep posting comments.
At a later date, I may make a slideshow of the year's worth of photos, and if so, I'll post it here.

Day 361 - Reece on the Mac
My son has really gotten into some of the computer games lately. He spent a good deal of time Monday evening playing on Starfall.

Day 356 - Orange Grid
I love toying around with images in Photoshop. It's really amazing what you can do so easily. This photo started out as just a plain silvery grid with no special lighting of any kind. I turned it into a color negative and added an orange spotlight in PS, and it actually made it look decent. This is Wednesday's photo.
