Day 127 - Sensor Dust
Dust on the sensor of a digital camera is a common problem for digital SLRs, because when you change lenses it gives dust an opportunity to get inside the camera. This, however, was taken with my Fuji F10 point and shoot, which logically should not get dust inside, because there's never any opening to the sensor. The areas in the red circle show the dust.
I looked it up on the web, and apparently other people experience this same problem. Most of the time, it's easily removed in a photo-editing program, but it's a pain to have to do that every time. With digital SLRs, you can simply take off the lens and open the shutter to clean the sensor (carefully, that is), but with a P&S, there's no way to get inside without cracking the entire casing open.
